SL28 Spinlock Self Catch Headgate

This is the most advanced self catch head-gate on the market today. Our spinlock technology makes this the best head gate you will ever use. It can also be operated manually or be controlled at the rear of the chute by a pulley and cable system. This head gate operates by the animal trying to pass through the opening in the head gate. The spinlock system then goes from lock up set positions to close and lock in a fraction of a second. It does not matter if cattle are wild or tame, they are caught! The head gate can be set to catch cows and calves in a matter of seconds. This is the fastest mechanical head gate you will ever use. The head gate has eight set positions for different size cattle from 7 to 20 inches. The head gate minimum opening is 5 ½ inches, and the maximum to release cattle is 28 inches at mid section. The head gate locks from 5 ½ to 17 inches with nine positive mechanical catches that hold. No more cattle escaping! The head gate also has a 7-foot chain for head restraint. The head gate can also be locked open to allow cattle to pass through a chute.
