The first designed automatic headgate for sheep. Intended to be used in a raceway. When a sheep puts its head through, it locks automatically. With a flick of a handle, the sheep can continue down the raceway to be sorted. With a flip of another handle, the headgate returns to its original position, ready for another sheep. One side of the headgate is spring-loaded to reduce chance of injury to the sheep. The other side is adjustable so the width can be changed for different sized animals. The automatic headgate works equally well for small and large sheep. When used in conjunction with the SG1475 3 ½ -foot double doors, you have complete access to the sheep. A headgate is a must for any serious shepherd. It holds sheep so they can't move and is more efficient than having someone hold the sheep for you. When the sheep is restrained in the headgate, you can medicate, pregnancy check, eartag, deworm or inspect it. The automatic headgate is pictured with a frame on the backside so it can be hooked directly to the TS900 sorter.

A rollin stop gate can be used at various points in a raceway to stop movement of animals. RSG24 has the same features as RS1200 but also shuts off the raceway. A Rollin stop gate should be used on both sides of the T1000 turntable and preceeding the HG2 automatic head gate. Our unique Rollin stop gate uses 2-inch caster rollers to slide shutoff gate and has lock to keep it shut. Sliding gate can be reversed for left or right operation.

A drop gate permits stoppage of sheep or release of sheep from a distance in a raceway. The drop gate section is made of aluminum and weights only 5 pounds. DP1 also supports your raceway panels at the proper angle and width.

This unique 3-in-1 gate is easy to operate because it has only one handle to do three things: stop animals, cut animals right, or cut animals left. With a stop gate built into the sorter, the sheep can be slowed to permit closer inspection before sorting. Even at a slow rate, sheep can be sorted at a rate of more than 100 every five minutes. The TS900 sorter has open bars to allow light to pass through and entice sheep to move towards the end of the raceway. TS900 also acts as a support for the race way.

The RS1200 open top adjustable raceway support is used on longer raceways or at the entrance to the raceway in conjunction with the AB1 anti back-up arm. It supports raceway panels that are vertical or slanted inward at the bottom and maintains raceway width of 12 to 22 inches.

AB1 is an add-on device that can be hooked onto any solid raceway panel. It prevents animals from backing out of the raceway. Animals can push through or jump over the anti back-up arm, but they can't back up. AB1 is spring-loaded. It should be used every 8 to 12 feet in the handling system, starting at the entrance to the raceway. Anti back-up arms can be used in pairs if raceway panels are straight vertically. When panels are angled, only one is used. Animals will flow through the system better if only one anti back-up arm is used because they will go around one better than they can go through two.

Poly foot troughs are 8 feet long. They come as two, 4-foot sections that fit together. Foot troughs are used in the raceway between two solid panels. They have V-shaped bottoms to spread the animals' hooves for better treatment.

The galvanized steel sides have adjustable angle tops to set for the height adjustments of 2, 2 ½ , 3, 3 ½ , and 4 foot high loading. Ramp has 10 inch wheels and is well-balanced for easy of moving it around.
